What do you think of this photo I took just less than a year ago?

Where was it taken?

Interesting light/dark contrast in sepia tones.

I'd have to say: a public building. [duh]

It doesn't look like an airport corridor, on the grounds that there would be more light and people, OR you caught such a corridor. BUT there aren't any suitcases, so I will rule that out.

Haven't been in a European (or English) hospital, BUT it doesn't look unlike the corridors of the European hospitals I've seen. Possibly a family waiting to hear about a loved one. As a priest you'd visit a lot of hospitals - BUT what negates this is I wouldn't think you'd normally carry a camera in a place like that, and there don't seem to be any benches for the family to wait, which seems unlikely.

More thought. UNLESS it's some hellhole of a narthex. I don't even like the word "narthex." The entrance to that new church in Lourdes?

Close. It's the underground Reconcilation area in Fatima! Exposition chapel and other chapels are to the left of the passage. The light at the end of the tunnel is from the walkway up to the surface.
